I'm new at photography and using my camera. I was wondering if anyone knew how to keep from getting blurry objects when a person might suddenly move while the picture is being shot. The picture below is an example of what I'm trying to keep from happening all the time (the arm in the background)
Make: Sony
Model: DSC-H1
f/2.8
Focal Length: 6.0 mm

Hey-
You'll want to make sure your shutter speed is fast enough to stop any movement. This means the shutter (the part of the camera that controls how long it takes a picture for) should only open for a brief fraction of a second. If your camera is on manual settings, you should be able to adjust it and you'll want the denominator to be really high(e.g. 1/200 or something). If you're shooting on automatic, just make sure the flash is turned on. The flash might be a good diea either way. Flash is the second moptst influential thing when it comes to capturing action and getting nice crisp clear photos. Hope that helps a little and good luck!
